Today, APAsport Agency, a subsidiary of APA Holding, celebrates the 10th anniversary of its establishment.
APAsport (www.apasport.az), the first sports news agency of Azerbaijan, is available in Azerbaijani and Russian.
APAsport, which was named the best sports agency of Azerbaijan by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2007, issues news articles covering all spheres of Azerbaijani and world sports, prepares exclusive interviews with famous athletes and representatives of the sports community and analyzes problems in various spheres. The Agency posts videos and photo galleries from major competitions and interesting sports events in its website.
The Agency takes an active part in the coverage of major sports events held in Azerbaijan. For the wide coverage by APAsport of the first Baku European Games in 2015, APA Holding was awarded by the State Fund for the Support of Mass Media Development under the President of Azerbaijan.
