Azerbaijan determines new requirements on provision of military servicemen with flat

Terms not included in the flawless military service of military servicemen have been determined, APA reports.

It has been reflected in the Decree "on Amendments to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 569 dated December 28, 2011 " On strengthening measures of social protection of military servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan" signed by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today.

The following periods will not be included in a serviceman's perfect military service:

- one year from the date of application of the disciplinary sanction, except for cases when the disciplinary sanction of demotion was previously lifted from the serviceman;
- a period of one year from the date of completion of the execution of the decision to impose an administrative penalty for an administrative offense against military service;
- period of conviction.

According to the amendment, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army who has served for 20 calendar years or more cannot be provided with housing at the expense of the state during these periods.

Notable servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army who have served 20 calendar years or more are provided with housing at public expense.
