In January-November 2021, Azerbaijan became the second-largest exporter of the Turkish defense industry and aviation products, according to indicators presented by the Turkish Exporters' Assembly, APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.
According to the information, during the first 11 months of the current year, Turkey sold defense industry products worth $192 million 126 thousand to Azerbaijan.
The United States is the largest exporter of defense products from Turkey. During the reporting period, Turkey exported $ 1 billion 32 million 615 thousand worth of defense industry products to the US.
Qatar is the third-largest importer of armored vehicles and weapons systems from Turkey worth $ 180.544 million.
In January-November, the total value of Turkey's exports of the defense industry and aviation products increased by 39.7% year-on-year to $ 2.793 billion 974,000.
