Turkey's Hurkush aircraft tested in Azerbaijan-PHOTO-VIDEO-UPDATED

Two Hurkush trainer aircraft manufactured by the Turkish company TUSAS have been brought to Baku for demonstration, Ministry of Defense told APA.

Demonstration flights of Hurkush trainer aircraft were conducted on December 3 on the Distinguished Visitors Day held in one of the military units of the Air Force.

In attendance were Deputy Defense Minister - Commander of the Air Force Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci, Military Attaché Major General Zekeriya Yalcin, and others.

A briefing was given on the tactical and technical characteristics and working principles of the Hurkush trainer aircraft.

Then, the two fraternal countries' military pilots performed joint demonstration flights in the airspace of our country.

Lieutenant General Tahirov highly appreciated the training of the pilots and wished them success in their future service.

Hurkush trainer aircraft, produced by Turkey, has been tested in Azerbaijan, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci wrote on Twitter, APA reports.

Note that Hurkus aircraft, which conducted its first flight in 2018, has been given to Turkish Military Air Forces. Hurkus trainer aircraft will also be used in armies of NATO member states.
