Azerbaijani MOD has commented on the statement of Armenian MOD that the Armenian officer, allegedly lost his way, went over to the Azerbaijani side, the Defense Ministry told APA.
The denial and refutation of any fact by Armenia’s defense ministry don’t already cause anyone’s suspicion. Armenia’s defense ministry tries to refute the fact of taking prisoner of the commander of the Armenian sabotage and reconnaissance group, First Lieutenant Gurgin Alberyan performing a special task by saying that as if the officer lost his way and went astray due to unfavorable weather condition while checking the defended post. If the officer taken prisoner while fulfilling a task didn’t wear a military uniform, undoubtedly, Armenia’s defense ministry would once again present him as a shepherd or psychically sick person.
If an officer “is lost” and no information is given to the wide public about this despite of efflux of over 24 hours, this once again proves that the arbitrariness and lack of discipline rules in the Armenian army, the increasing number of criminal incidents, non-battle losses are always and purposefully concealed from wide public.
Every time, after capturing by units of the Azerbaijani army of an Armenian citizen who acted as a guide to a provocative group or a member of such group, based on the same scenario, the opposite party presents such persons as a village resident having psychological problems, mentally sick person, shepherd, a criminal element who committed a crime or a person who lost his way and went astray while being in the drunken condition.
Note that this provocation of Armenia has also been prevented as a result of vigilance and professionalism of the Azerbaijani Army.
The responsibility for aggravation of situation on line of contact of troops and on the site of Armenia-Azerbaijan state border completely falls on Armenia’s political and military leaders.
