“Armenia’s attacking Azerbaijani civilians is not a new case,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Movlud Cavusoglu at the press conference following the meeting with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg who is on a visit to Ankara, APA’s Turkish bureau reports.
Turkish FM recalled that more than 600 innocent people were killed in Khojaly.
“Beginning from July 12 of this year, Armenia has been continuing its attacks. They already inflict fire even on the territory close to Baku. This is an international crime. All international organizations, states either show the same attitude to both parties in this issue or stand with Armenia. NATO also demonstrates the same attitude to both parties in this issue. It is necessary to be not on the side of the strong party but on the side of the righteous party. The Azerbaijani lands have been under occupation for 30 years and there are over one million refugees and internally displaced people”, M. Cavusoglu noted.
