“Our meeting with my Armenian counterpart lasted more than three hours and a half. I can tell you that the discussions were difficult enough,” said Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs during his speech at the 26th session of Ministerial Council of OSCE in Bratislava, APA reports.
He stated that there are still unresolved issues.
“We are discussing phased resolution ways with OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs. Certainly, the results of the conflict should be removed and as it was noted in the UN resolutions, Armenian armed forces should be removed from Nagorno Garabagh and adjacent regions firstly. It will allow us to step to the next phase in the negotiations, in which we may discuss the issue of the status of territory,” noted E. Mammadyarov.
