“The placement of terrorist groups from the Middle East in Armenia and the occupied Nagorno Garabagh is completely unacceptable for Russia. Moscow should respond to this and should stop this process”, said political expert Andrey Petrov in his statement to APA’s Moscow correspondent.
He said activation of Armenia in the Middle East, the placement by it of militants of PKK terrorist organization on both its own territory and in the occupied Nagorno Garabagh should concern Russia.
“The matter is that the appearance of militants of the terrorist organization near Russia’s borders is a great danger for itself. This means that the tension hotbed in the Middle East nears Russia’s borders. If we take into consideration that Armenia is a member of the Eurasian Union, then the terrorists may easily pass from its territory to Russia. I think this point is completely unacceptable for Russia. Moscow should stop this process and ensure security of its territories. By filling Azerbaijan’s occupied territories with terrorists, Armenia creates great problem for Russia”, the Russian expert stressed.
