“Armenian armed forces shelled positions of Azerbaijani armed forces using artillery in the direction of Lachin region immediately after Armenian Prime Minister released a statement on Armenia’s complying humanitarian ceasefire regime at about 8:00 a.m. Civilians of Terter region and surrounding villages have been subjected to fire. Our positions in Gadabay, Tovuz, and Dashkasar regions have been subjected fire from Armenia’s Berd, Chemberek, and Vardenis regions relevantly”, said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, APA reports.
He said that Armenia fired civilians of Ganja city using ballistic missiles after the Moscow Declaration on October 10. Humanitarian ceasefire regime, agreed with the mediation of France on October 18, was also grossly violated by the Armenian side: "All of these show once more that Armenia supports humanitarian ceasefire in word, but in deed hiding behind humanitarian ceasefire to fire armed forces and civilians of Azerbaijan, gather forces, and capture new positions. Armenia’s purpose is to maintain the status-quo, which bases on occupation, and to strengthen.
The Azerbaijani side demonstrates patience. Information on violation of ceasefire is gathered and co-chair countries are informed relevantly. Armenia is responsible for violation of humanitarian ceasefire for the next time.”
