The permanent commission for Foreign affairs of the Italian Chamber of Deputies adopted on November 18, 2020 the resolution calling for compliance with obligations arising from the statement signed by the President of Azerbaijan, the prime minister of Armenia and the President of Russia, the Press service department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) told APA.
It was stated that the information about historical and legal framework of the conflict was given in the document and it is stressed that 30 thousand people were killed as a result of military operations during 1991-1994, hundredsw of thousand of people fell in condition of internally displaced persons, beginning from 1993, Nagorno Garabagh and seven more surrounding adjacent regions of Azerbaijan fell under Armenia’s control, the UN Security Council declared its positions regarding the conflict by its four resolutions.
