The situation in the region of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was discussed at a meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Kremlin press service told APA's Moscow correspondent.
The meeting, chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin, focused on the situation on the line of contact in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone and expressed concern over the ongoing fighting.
President Putin was briefed by the participants about preparations for the joint statement of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
