Ukraine has welcomed the suspension of military operations between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the framework of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, according to the statement issued by Ukranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), APA reports.
“We consider that that as the next step, along with restoring stability and vitality in the region, international efforts should be continued to achieve a full settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of international law.
Ukraine always and unconditionally supports the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders,” the statement reads.
Ukrainian MFA emphasized that that territorial integrity principle is the basis for Ukraine, which suffers from aggression and occupation.
