“The situation around Nagorno Garabagh is quite dangerous, there is a risk of its development into a large-scale military confrontation”, said chairman of Russia’s Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
She called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to immediately stop fire.
V. Matvienko said there is not a military solution of the conflict.
“Russia is ready to provide possible assistance to Azerbaijan and Armenia for peaceful settlement of the situation. Russia calls on all responsible world powers to refrain from intervening into the conflict in any form”, V. Matvienko stressed.
