"What happened on the border in Tovuz is a purposeful, pre-planned provocation by Armenia," said Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Issues Department of the Administration at the press conference today, APA reports.
Mr Hajiyev emphasized that relevant notes were submitted by the permanent missions in international organizations: “A note was given to the UN Secretary-General. A special session was convened within the Non-Aligned Movement to inform member states."
Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan noted that a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council is being held today: “The meeting will be attended by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group. Necessary instructions have been given to the Azerbaijani representation to the OSCE.
