“The multiple untrue and false pieces of information contradicting to each other are disseminated by Armenia and the so-called regime. Consequently, no need is left for interference of the Azerbaijani side in order to unmask such false pieces of information”, said Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, APA reports.
H. Hajiyev noted that the photo of the Armenian defense minister with the Armenian military servicemen wearing military uniform of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan turned upside down Armenia’s false campaign regarding mercenaries: “While Armenia’s Defense Ministry and other institutions declared that it will provide new information about mercenary, Armenia’s Justice Ministry confessed there is not the third mercenary. Probably, they couldn’t find relevant person for the staged theater performance. Also the false battle scenes are prepared by Armenia via involvement of the persons naming themselves as bloggers in order to create artificial enthusiasm.
The information about killing of civilian on our territories liberated from occupation disseminated by the so-called regime is another disinformation. One of the features distinguishing Azerbaijan from Armenia is that Azerbaijan doesn’t wage war against civilians.
The Khojaly genocide being a bright example of the crime against humanity demonstrated the true essence of the political and military leadership of Armenia. The ethnic cleansing was committed by Armenia on the occupied territories against the Azerbaijani people on the basis of racial discrimination.
The killing of civilian population of Terter, Ganja, Barda and other cities including juvenile children by rocket strikes is the continuation of Armenia’s Khojaly genocide policy. The difference is only the used means. The targeting of the civilian Azerbaijani population is one of the goals determined in doctrine and combat training of the Armenian armed forces.
The greatest danger for civilians living in Azerbaijan’s Nagorno Garabagh region is Armenia and criminal junta regime. The cases of commission by them of crimes against civilians and then blaming it on Azerbaijan shouldn’t be ruled out.
We call on the civilian Armenian population living on our occupied territories to be vigilant and to keep aside from the territories where the military operations are going on.
All necessary aid and support based on international humanism principles will be provided to the civilians wishing to pass to the territory being under Azerbaijan’s control”.
