"In this regard, we support the intention of UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay. She intends to send an appropriate mission to the conflict region. Azoulay confirmed this intention during a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on November 20. We expect that the mission, which was prepared in cooperation with the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides with the participation of reputable international NGOs - partners of UNESCO in the field of protection and protection of monuments, will soon be able to arrive at the site and give an objective assessment of the situation," Zakharova said.
