“Who returns where, who leaves where all was written in the statement. All of these have been agreed at the highest level”, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov at the joint press conference on the results of the meeting with the President of the International Red Crescent Committee Peter Maurer, APA’s correspondent in Moscow reports.
According to him, Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents and Armenian Prime Minister have an exact notion on the necessity of execution of all of these.
“As for the issue of return of Azerbaijani and Armenian refugees, they should return to their traditional residential places safely and voluntarily in accordance with norms of international humanitarian law. Certainly, they should be assisted to settle in their previous residential places. Military operations were conducted in those places. There is a need for restoration in those places. We have also talked about this issue today. International organizations may play their roles in the issue. We will deliver each kind of assistance for it. Immediate helping those, who are willing to return, is essential”, noted Russian FM.
