On September 27, 2020, the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia again violated the norms of international law and fired on the settlements and military positions of the Republic of Azerbaijan with various types of weapons.
The press service of the Interior Ministry told APA that the Azerbaijani Army launched counter-offensive operations to prevent the attacks.
According to information received in recent days, there are cases of dissemination of information about the situation in the frontline, military-political and operational conditions, deployment of troops, military equipment and its movement, weapons, as well as other threats to state security by some individuals, especially users of social media and other digital platforms.
We inform the population that in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On State Secrets" dated September 7, 2004 and the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On some security measures on the line of contact between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia" dated September 24, 2014 appropriate liability for the dissemination of information prohibited by law.
Appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the requirements of the legislation on persons disseminating photos, audio-video materials and other information on the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, military facilities, their purpose, strategic, operational and mobilization deployment of armed formations, organizational structure of military units, number of personnel.
At a time when our army is conducting successful military operations, inflicting crushing blows on the enemy and liberating our territories from occupation, we call on everyone to understand civil responsibility, be vigilant and refrain from steps that could harm the state security and operational conditions on the front.
