“As a deputy of Khankendi I give a message to my enemies that we will return to our lands, our homes soon”, head of the Azerbaijani community of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, MP Tural Ganjaliyev said at the press conference dedicated to massive terrorist actions of Armenians against Azerbaijanis in Khankendi City on September 18, 1988, in the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Garabagh region, APA reports.
He said this occupation is temporary: “We haven’t forgotten the massacres committed by Armenians in Khankendi on September 18, 1988. We, the residents of Khankendi give a message to the enemies that with the help of our glorious army we will clear Khankendi of useless terrorist elements. Not much time is left until the end of Armenia’s aggressive policy. We will hold accountable to those terrorists. This occupation is temporary, Armenians are temporary visitors on the occupied territories. The armies of Armenia and its patrons will not be able to stand up to our desire. We have the right and international law on our side. We give an open message to the enemy that we will return to our lands soon. This will end soon. We are committed enough to do this. Our enemies see our commitment and desire and feel uneasy”.
T. Ganjaliyev noted that Khankendi is a settlement that was populated by our ancient ancestors: “We have been expelled from those lands for about 30 years. We give a concrete message to the enemies that the reason for this is the aggressive policy conducted by Armenia. We are committed to return to our lands. They will not be able to withstand this. The supreme leaders of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the glorious army of Azerbaijan will soon write new history with golden letters”.
