Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation was overdue, Head of Shusha District Executive Authority Bayram Safarov told reporters on Tuesday, APA reports.
“Serzh Sargsyan's resignation was overdue, and I was waiting for his resignation earlier,” he said.
He noted that Sargsyan is an enemy not only of the Azerbaijani, but also of the Armenian people.
“Sargsyan and Kocharyan adhered to a hostile position in order not to lose power. Through their fault, the Armenian people today live in poverty. Sargsyan is our enemy. His actions caused the lives of civilians in the Azerbaijani town of Khojaly. The day will come and they will pay for their crimes,” Safarov added.
