The seventh day of the 2nd European Games, held in Minsk, capital of Belarus, ended, APA's correspondent in Minsk reports.
Azerbaijan team finished the day with two medals. Freestyle wrestlers Haji Aliyev (65 kg) won gold, Nurmuhammad Hajiyev (97 kg) won silver.
Thus, Azerbaijan's overall number of medals has risen to 16.
Azerbaijani is the 15th with two gold, five silver and nine bronze medals in the team competition.
Within 7 days, 124 sets of medals were played and 38 countries have won medals and 30 of them won gold medals.
The Russian national team has strengthened its leadership and Belarus is in the 2nd place and Italians are third.
