President Ilham Aliyev has signed the order about extra measures regarding the improvement of provision with irrigation water of sowing areas and satisfaction of demand for drinking water of people in Gabala region, APA reports.
Based on the order, AZN 700.0 (seven hundred) thousand from the proceeds indicated in the document entitled as “Distribution of the funds envisaged for state fixed capital investment (investment expenditures) in the state budget of the Azerbaijan Republic for 2020” and intended for drilling of sub-artesian wells in order to improve water supply in Azerbaijan’s regions, have been allocated to Azerbaijan Land Reclamation and Waterworks System Open Joint-Stock Company for the purpose of designing and drilling of 10 units of sub-artesian wells in order to improve the supply of irrigation water to sowing areas and homestead land plots used for sowing, as well as to satisfy people’s demand for drinking water in 10 residential settlements of Gabala region inhabited by 14880 people.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan should ensure financing in the amount shown in the 1st part of the aforementioned Order, and the Cabinet of Ministers should solve the issues arising from this Order.
