11 Oriental planes with a status of natural monument destroyed in Fuzuli district

"There were 11 Oriental planes in Fuzuli district, which had a status of natural monument, until occupation and all of these trees were destroyed during occupation," said Head of Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Mehman Nabiyev, APA reports.

According to him, there were trees among those natural monuments which were 1400 years old: "Such cases occurred in the territories of Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli, Aghdam districts too and all the natural monuments were cut down and destroyed. There were 138 natural monuments in territories of these districts, of which 127 were destroyed by the enemy. 117 of them were Oriental planes."
