30 people died of influenza last year in Azerbaijan

Last year 90 people have died from acute respiratory infections of the upper airways, the State Statistics committee told to the inquiry of APA.

46 of them are men, 44 are women. 50 of died are between 0-17 ages.

It has been noted that 30 people have died of influenza last year, including 10 women and 20 men. They are people above 50.

It has been noted that In 2020, the number of patients with multiple or undiagnosed acute infections of the upper airways and the diagnosis of influenza for the first time were 229.1 thousand people.

The number of people who died from acute respiratory infections of the upper airways has been higher in Baku (21 people), Ganja (5 people) and Sumgayit (4 people) cities, Shamkir (9 people), Gusar (4 people), and Tovuz (4 people) regions in comparison to the other city and regions.
