The assessment of the damage caused to the city as a result of the rocket shelling of Ganja City by the Armenian armed forces was started, head of the workgroup for Ganja city Adalet Aliyev said in his statement to APA.

Ganja City is one of the territories mostly exposed to rocket strikes as a result of enemy provocation. According to him, based on the initial calculations, the damage was caused to over 2000 individual houses and apartment buildings in the city, a significant number of automobiles fell into disrepair: “The assessment works were started since yesterday in residential and non-residential areas. The assessment is implemented with the participation of house owners. We will draw up relevant technical inspection acts. Those acts will be presented to the Commission. Maybe, the number of residential and non-residential areas that sustained damage will increase. Meanwhile, the amount of the caused damage will be determined by specialists after the finalization of works. The assessment works should be completed by December 10. Therefore we try to finalize works timely".

Note that on November 6, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order "On measures to assess and eliminate the damage caused to the civilian population, state property, including infrastructure facilities, as well as business entities as a result of the aggression of the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan from September 27, 2020".
