Authorities of MES employees being enhanced

The Cabinet of Ministers has made a change in its decision “about approval of the “procedure of registration of persons who participated in ensuring of emergency situation regime””, APA reports.

According to the change, the provisions of the "Procedure of registration of persons who participated in ensuring of emergency situation regime” are applied to the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the military servicemen and other persons who participated in ensuring of emergency situation regime.

According to the decision in force, previously, these provisions were applied to the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the State Security Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the State Border Service of the Azerbaijan Republic, the military servicemen, as well as other persons (hereinafter – persons) who participated in ensuring of emergency situation regime.

At the same time, the registration of names of the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the military servicemen and other persons who participated in ensuring of emergency situation regime in regard to whom additional preferences and compensations are applied and the determination of the period of their participation in ensuring of emergency situation regime will be implemented on the bases of the decrees issued by the senior officials of the relevant state agencies where the aforementioned persons work (serve) and the commanders of the services of the Armed Forces that participated in ensuring of emergency situation regime (or military leaders with equal or higher authorities).

So far, these additional preferences and compensations were applied to the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the State Security Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the State Border Service of the Azerbaijan Republic, the military servicemen, as well as other persons who participated in ensuring of emergency situation regime.
