Azerbaijan’s MFA: “Citizens should not gather at Russian-Azerbaijani border as soon as they register on portal"

"Citizens who registered on " Eve gedirem" (I am going home) portal that has been launched for the return of Azerbaijani citizens from Russia should wait to be contacted," said head of Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Leyla Abdullayeva at the briefing held by Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to L. Abdullayeva citizens who registered on the portal gather at Russian-Azerbaijani border without waiting for the call, message: “Recently, a citizen registered on the portal and then came to Dagestan border. When we called him, the person did not have enough time to return for the plane. That is why a citizen should wait to be contacted after registration on the portal. Those who registered on the portal are contacted within 2 weeks.”
