It is proposed to increase fines regarding the use of personal protective equipment during the period of the anti-epidemic regime, and the sanitary and hygienic and quarantine regimes, APA reports.

This issue has found its reflection in the draft law about making a change in the Administrative Offences Code of the Azerbaijan Republic brought up for discussion at the meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament held today.

According to the draft law, for violation of the requirements determined by relevant executive power agency in regard to use of personal protective equipment during the period of the anti-pandemic regime, and the sanitary and hygienic and quarantine regimes, as well as for non-prevention of violation of those requirements by senior officials and legal entities, the individuals will be fined in the amount of AZN 100, the senior officials – in the amount of AZN 200, and the legal entities – in the amount of AZN 400.

For the repeated committing of this offense by the person previously subjected to disciplinary sanction within 1 year from the date of entry into force of the law about sentencing to disciplinary sanction, the individuals will be fined in the amount of AZN 200, the senior officials – in the amount of AZN 400, and the legal entities – in the amount of AZN 800.
