Baku Metro has resumed operations

In accordance with the sanitary-epidemiological situation, passenger transportation has been resumed in the Baku metro from 06:00 today, the decision was made by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.

As the public transport will not function on Saturdays and Sundays until September 30, 2020, the passenger transportation activity of the metro is also suspended from 00:00 a.m. on September 19 until 06:00 a.m. on September 21 and from 00:00 a.m. on September 26 until 06:00 a.m. on September 28.

In order to prevent spread of coronavirus infection according to “Methodological instructions regarding prophylaxis of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in public transport”, to protect health of passengers, relevant measures have been taken on territory of the metro.
