“Entry to and exit from prisons has been banned in Azerbaijan since March,” said Ibrahim Mammadov, the head of the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, at the press conference organized by the Operative Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
R. Bayramli noted that chronic patients are taken to clinics outside of the prison: “Infection of chronic patients in medical institutions is one of the leading facts. When such viruses are transmitted to closed facilities, those in close contact infect. Relevant organizations operate to prevent this. Joint measures are taken and this process has been limited.”
