Hande Harmanci: “The virus will be with us for a long time”

“The virus will be with us for a long period of time – at least, until preparation of vaccine, emergence of effective treatment”, said Dr. Hande Harmanci, Representative of the World Health Organization in Azerbaijan, at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports

Head of WHO Representation to Azerbaijan said that after preparation of the coronavirus-related vaccine, the WHO will try to make it accessible for all: “Until then, our people should be responsible, careful.

We know content of the virus better now. Monitoring of the epidemics at real time regime is very essential. It is very necessary to determine, test and take in quarantine all suspected cases.”
