Influenza vaccination starts in Azerbaijan today

Starting from October 12, influenza vaccination measures will be implemented in all cities and regions of the country among certain population groups within a month, it has been reflected in the order “On strengthening preventive measures against influenza and acute respiratory diseases in the Republic in the autumn-winter season of 2020-2021” signed by Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev, APA reports.

First, health workers, pregnant women and children over 6 months of age and adults with chronic respiratory diseases will be vaccinated.

Individuals from these groups can apply to outpatient clinics serving the population at the place of residence, get a medical examination and get vaccinated.

Vaccination will be free.
