List and quota of goods to be subjected to preferential trade regime between Azerbaijan and Turkey determined

The list, basic tariff categories, tariff reduction rates and annual tariff quota quantity of the goods of the Azerbaijani origin that will be subjected to preferential trade regime by Turkey have become known, APA reports.

This has found its reflection in the “Preferential Trade Agreement between the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Government of the Turkish Republic” discussed at the meeting of the International relations and inter-parliamentary contacts committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament and recommended at the regular plenary meeting of the parliament.

The list, basic tariff categories, tariff reduction rates and annual tariff quota quantity of the goods of the Turkish origin that will be subjected to preferential trade regime by Azerbaijan have also been reflected in that Agreement.

Note that this Agreement is being concluded for the indefinite period. The agreement will remain valid until either of the agreeing parties states its intention to terminate the agreement via diplomatic channels. In such case, the Agreement will become invalid on the first day of the seven months coming after the date of receipt of the termination notification by another agreeing party.
