Ministry: More than 3500 COVID-19 patients getting treatment at home in Azerbaijan, provided with free medicines

“More than 3500 COVID-19 patients getting treatment at home have been provided with free medicines,” said the member of Working Group under the Ministry of Health Inara Makayeva, APA reports.

She said that the main duty of the working group established in the end of June of this year is to coordinate the work of 39 field stations covering 87 medical institutions in Baku: “The decision on providing free medicines to asymptomatic or patients with mild symptoms has been adopted in the Working group. The medicines which are needed for the treatment- Vitamin C, D, Zinc, Selenium, Magnesium, and Paracetamol have been given to such patients. According to the international recommendations, the medicines mentioned above stimulate the human immune system and mobilizes all its resources to fight viruses.”
