Presidential aide: “As a result of taken steps and citizens’ compliance with rules, sharp decline in infection with virus observed”

“New decisions have been adopted by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers”, said today Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration at the press conference organized by Task Force under Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

H. Hajiyev said as a result of the steps taken in the area of prevention of coronavirus infection and citizens’ compliance with the rules, a sharp decline in infection with the virus is observed: “Taking into consideration the necessity of preservation of the obtained successes, protection of citizens’ health and the worldwide situation regarding coronavirus, the quarantine regime on the territory of Azerbaijan has been extended from August 31 until September 30”.
