Ramin Bayramli: “Vaccinating 20% of population is believed to be sufficient”

“Calculations indicate that vaccination of initially 20% of the population may be enough to effectively control the epidemiological situation. One of the important requirements on vaccines that can be used is to be effective and safe,” said Ramin Bayramli, Chairman of the Board of TABIB, at a meeting of the Public Oversight Board of the Foundation for Support of Coronavirus on the issues of vaccination against SARS-COV-2 virus, APA reports.

R. Bayramli said that currently, serological tests are being conducted: “Also according to the recommendation of the WHO vaccination of initially, 20% of the population is considered sufficient.”
