State Service: To sell medicines at a price different from the approved price prohibited

"Comprehensive measures are being taken to regulate the prices of medicines. Regulation of prices of state-registered medicines is carried out by the Tariff (price) Council. Price regulation is carried out primarily on vital and more demanding medicines. To date, prices of 12.114 medicines have been approved by the Tariff (price) Council," said the representative of State Service for Antimonopoly and Control Over Consumer Market Gunel Bahramgizi, APA reports.

According to her, in accordance with legislation, to sell state-registered medicines at a price different from the approved price is prohibited, and liability measures are envisaged for such cases.
