TABIB’s department head: “Virus does not recognize region, border, age”

“Special attention should be paid to maintaining social distance and hand hygiene,” said Yagut Garayeva, head of the department of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units in Azerbaijan (TABIB) at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Y. Garayeva noted that compared to Baku, people in the regions, generally, act as if there is no virus: “Virus does not recognize region, border, age. The virus does not need our cells in order to survive.”

TABIB’s department head said that COVID-19 is mutating today:” Today, compared to April and May, patients are different, there are more complications. We observe cases of serious complications in middle-aged and young patients.”
