WHO: Dexamethasone found to be 1/3 beneficial for patients in serious condition

"Situation regarding pandemics is getting better in Europe", Head of Representation of the World Health Organization (WHO) Hande Harmani said at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.

Head of Representation of the WHO has said that one vaccine is already at the latest stage of trial: "We hope that the vaccine will be accessible for medical workers and those, who have been included in risk group until end of 2021. It has been found that dexamethasone is 1/3 beneficial for patients, who are in serious condition."

H. Harmanci noted that 168 thousand protective equipment were brought to Azerbaijan in previous days, individual protective equipment will be brought again with 2 flights in the near future.
