Territories of three villages have become a swamp as Armenians changed the course of the Hakari River during the occupation, APA reports.
Armenians changed the course of the Hakari River in the part passing through Babayli village of Zangilan district. Armenians trying to create an artificial lake, turned all sowing areas of the village into a swamp. A territory of the swamp has broadened over the 27 years and spread to territories of two more villages. As a result, a swamp has appeared in sowing areas of Mammadbayli and Uchunju Aghali villages, besides Babayli village. Furthermore, cane and bushes also caused the destruction of sowing areas.
