Average monthly temperature in some areas of Azerbaijan will be higher than norm in June, Service says

In the recent decade, the average monthly temperature has become higher up to 0.5-3.2 degrees in May. In May of this year, the average monthly temperature of the weather has become near to 21,2 degrees in Baku, and this is 3,2 degrees higher than the norm” said Umayra Tagiyeva, the head of the National Hydrometeorological Service, APA reports.

According to her, the highest temperature in Baku has been recorded on May 29 of 2017 at 35,5 degrees: “In May 2021, the temperature was 32-37 degrees in the Central Aran region, 22-26 degrees in the mountains, 32-37 degrees in Nakhchivan AR and 34.1 degrees in Baku."
