Azerbaijani MP: "20% of health budget falls to share of fight against COVID"

"It is gratifying that there is a great increase in the amount that allocated for each of the state programs today", said Azerbaijani deputy Soltan Mammadov, APA reports.

"The deputy proposed that amount allocated to the field of health should be increased more: "Although 20% of the budget allocated for health falls to the share of the fight against COVID, an increase of the total health budget is 6%, and this is 2,1% of the budget allocated for health, in the Gross Domestic Product. In terms of this, I consider that it is desirable to increase health expenditures in order to increase the share of the amount, allocated to the health from the state budget, in the Gross Domestic Product more".
