Azerbaijani Parliament proposes to award Shusha the title of "Hero City"

"Museums, historical monuments were destroyed, destructed in Shusha," said Deputy Tahir Rzayev at the meeting of Azerbaijani Parliament held today, APA reports.

According to Deputy, Bulbul's museum is also in a destructed condition: "Although the house museum is repaired, a part of it should not be touched. Let coming tourists witness the deeds of Armenians. I suggest that the issue should even be reflected in the law "On Cultural Capital of Azerbaijan - the city of Shusha".

Deputy suggested granting Shusha a name of "Hero city": "Shusha is today free as a result of the heroism of the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. That is why a monument complex should be erected in Shusha in the honor of heroic servicemen of Azerbaijan."
