Azerbaijan's MES set to work on enhanced mode due to Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan (MES) set to work on enhanced mode, APA reports citing the Ministry.

The information reads: “As it is known, on June 4-6 of the current year, Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held in the Baku city.
Ministry of the Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has set to work on the enhanced mode due to the race. In accordance with the order signed by the Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, relative instructions have been given to the relevant structural units and agencies of the Ministry for the organization of verification of compliance with relevant security measures, as well as to give quick reaction to the emergency situations, and to operatively eliminate their possible results in the places that the competition to be held. Within the framework of this, taking into consideration the restriction on the movement of the transportation in the track and surrounding streets that the race to be held, the duty of relevant correspondent personnel and equipment of the relevant rescue bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been organized in order to ensure flexible and effective prevention of any emergency situations that may be happened in the central part of the city”.
