On July 7, 2021, starting from the morning hours, dust fog has been observed in Baku and Absheron peninsula. The weather condition is local, National Hydrometeorology Department told APA.
High temperatures, low rainfall, and many windy days in Baku and the Absheron peninsula are characteristic of the geographical location and climatic conditions of the area.
At present, according to the information received from automatic stations, the amount of dust in the air is 1,6 times higher than norm. Such dusty weather is forecasted to continue for the next two days depending on the weather conditions.
