How to get COVID passport in Azerbaijan has been announced, said assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahmar Movsumov at the briefing of the task Force under the cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

According to him, about 10 percent of the population have been vaccinated in the country: “The first certificate is a vaccination certificate. A special vaccination certificate is formed on the e-gov.az portal for those who receive two doses of vaccine. Every citizen has access to this certificate through the "e-tebib" application. At the same time they can print it from e-gov.az portal in a paper format and keep in themselves.

The second is the certificate of immunity, which applies to recovered people. They are not vaccinated for a certain period of time, so the immunity certificate is also considered a COVID passport. Both certificates have a QR code. This also allows for electronic verification.

Thus, the vaccination certificate and the immunity certificate - both are considered COVID passports.
