Kazakhstan's debt to Azerbaijan increased by 25%

As of January 1, Kazakhstan’s foreign state debt has reached USD 163,4 bln in annual term increasing by 3%, APA-Economics reports citing the statement of the Kazakhstan National Bank.

According to the information, 93,9% of Kazakhstan’s foreign state debt falls to the share of long-term debt ( more than 1 year). 80,12% of the foreign debt of the country is in US dollars.

When it comes to the countries, as of January 1 of the current year, Kazakhstan’s debt to Azerbaijan has made up 42,7 mln dollars. This is 25,1% more than in comparison to the figure recorded on January 1, 2020.
