“Only 0.3 percent of the existing classes in Azerbaijan have 40 or more students. There are certain objective and subjective reasons for this density,” Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev told journalists, APA reports.

He noted that there is a disproportion between density of population and volume of schools: “However, in general, total density percentage is not much in Azerbaijani schools. When parents apply to some schools they should take into account the density of students. We try to regulate density in schools as much as we can and will continue to do this. As more than 90 percent of educational workers have been vaccinated, I do not think that density of students will turn to a serious problem.”
