A long queue of trucks moving to the Russian Federation occurred in Samur customs post located on the Azerbaijani-Russian border, APA’s Northern bureau reports.
More than 500 cars wait in a queue at customs points for crossing the opposite side.
Samur customs point told APA that the reason for density is an increase in the number of transport vehicles carrying cargo from Azerbaijan to Russia in connection with the season.
It has been noted that the export control line of Samur customs point ensures the crossing of up to 250 trucks daily. It is possible to increase this number by the Azerbaijani side, however, the infrastructure of the customs points located on the Russian side does not allow this number of cargo vehicles.
