"As OIC, we are in Shusha today, we will visit Aghdam and Terter tomorrow," President of Ombudsmen Association of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Chief Ombudsman of Turkey Seref Malkoc told journalists on the sidelines of visit to Shusha, APA's correspondent reports.

He noted they visited Aghdam, Terter, Ganja, and Mingachevir, hit by Armenians with long-range missiles, during the war last year:

"We prepared a report in this regard. Purpose of our visit today is related to destruction and the rights of people, killed and injured as a result of mine explosions in the zone, where mines especially were planted by Armenians. Armenians have not given mine maps yet. The purpose of the report is to ensure that the world community puts pressure on Armenians to give mine maps to Azerbaijan. The second purpose is demonstration of Armenians provocation against historical monuments in Shusha and surrounding areas, kept under occupation for 30 years. It seems that they destroyed historical works. We will investigate these in site and will prepare a report on possibilty of their renovation. These historical monuments are not products of 10-100 years, but the whole mankind. These works are not cultural heritage of just the Caucasus and Azerbaijan people, but also the whole world. Our intention is to revive this cultural heritage and serve history and culture. We hope that the report, which will be developed by us, will have an impact, when it will be sent to the whole world, the UN, and organizations, protecting with human rights."

He noted that it is a great happiness to be in Shusha.
